Now, YOU can own a Polydiam System that has so much business potential! You can now make Rubber Stamps, Printing Plates and much more with this all-in-one system!
It can make you money and save you time! It's easy and fun.
NEGATIVE MAKING (Without Darkroom).
A negative can be made on the system by output from Laser Printer of text or designs required. You can also photocopy artwork required, or type, write, draw directly onto the Artwork Transparency Sheet. Once you have the images on this transparency, you put it together with the Polydiam Negative. Expose on the Platemaker for few seconds. Dish develop in Developer, Fixer and Water. Then dry ready for use.
POSITIVE / BROMIDES You use Negative and the use another Negative
to make Positive. To make a Bromide, use the Negative and Bromide paper and expose as above.
RUBBER STAMPS You make a Negative or have it made out. Put
Negative on Exposure Glass, apply solution around it before placing Cover Film over it. Make Foam Strip border around Negative. Then pour Polydiam Photopolymer Resin into framed area. Place Backing Sheet on top.
Then the Top glass after which the pair of glass is clamped together. The Back and Front is then exposed for appropriate times. The exposed plate is then washed in Water with washout developer. The plate is then
post exposed before drying and mounting it.
FLEXO DIE The same procedure as for Rubber Stamps. You can vary
the thickness of plate by the side bearers used.
LETTERPRESS PLATES You use Sheet Photopolymer Plates.
Various thickness plates with foil, sheet or aluminum backing are available, with a wide range of applications . The process begins with a sheet of plate cut to size required. A Negative is placed on top of it under
vacuum. It is then exposed in the Polydiam System. Then washed out in Water, Dried, PostExposed. It is them ready to use and mount as required.
MOLDING PLATES You can use either liquid or sheet photopolymer.
Using liquid resin, you make using the same process as for Rubber Stamp but use Molding Resin. Using Sheet Plates you use Polydiam PPM Photopolymer Plates which are steel backed and can handle higher temperatures. Uses:
for Moulding Matrix boards for Vulcanizing Rubber.
EMBOSSING PLATES Once again you can use liquid or sheet
photopolymer. The plates are made same as for molding plates. You make a male and female plate, so you can emboss the image required. For signs, cards, plastics, keypad, Greeting Cards, .......
Can also be used in the Polydiam SEAL MAKER to mold plastic embossing seals using.
HOT FOILING PLATES You use Polydiam PPM Photopolymer Plates which
are steel backed. These plate can handle temperature of up to about 140EC (also available is PPM/H plate for up to 180EC) and low temperature release foils are used. They are suitable for short runs of
about 500 to 1,000 impressions. Various thickness plates are available of printing on different surfaces. Mainly suitable for manually hand operated machines and some slower speed automated machines.
Uses: for printing of business cards, greeting cards, letterheads, leaflets, ......
VACUUM FORMING PLATES Same as for rubber stamps, but put the
negative reverse so you get positive image. The plate is also made thicker, so you can get deeper relief image. Uses: for signs, packaging,..
PANTOGRAPHIC ENGRAVING PLATES Same as for moulding plates but
use positives, instead of negative. This will give you the image dug out of the plate, so you can place the engraving needle into it and follow the outline and engrave. Uses: for engraving signs, boards, figures.
PAD PRINTING PLATES You use a thin Polydiam PPS Photopolymer
Plate. You expose using a Negative, then expose with appropriate screen, before washing in water, drying, post exposing, ready for use. Use: for pad printing. For printing onto shaped objects.
SCREEN PRINTING STENCILS You place the Coated Screen Stencil with a positive image film. Expose for few minutes in the Polydiam Platemaker. Then washout with water jet the unexposed image area. Dry the frame stencil. It is then ready for us.
LITHO PLATE Place the correct Litho plate in contact with the Negative. Expose for few minutes. Then develop plate as required, ready for use. For
small offset Litho Printing Machines. To print on paper, card, etc.
PHOTOGLAZING You can glaze any photograph, picture onto china plates, wood, plastics, metals. You take the photo. Place double side tape behind it. Cut photo round or what ever shape require. Stick photo onto plate. Pour a little photoglaze liquid onto photo and cover photo and area around it. Let it settle to level. Expose as needed. The plate is ready. Uses: Gifts, promotions, personal.
