A quick, easy and low-cost way of moulding. You can use Polydiam photopolymer plates, metal engraved or etched plates and other materials.
This unique Polydiam Plastic Molder is very simple to use and can produce a wide range of plastic products. The main cost savings will be in the tooling costs. This is achieved by
using the low cost Polydiam photopolymer plates as your master molding plate. Then molding the plastic item from it. No noise, no mess and no waiting. Various sizes of standard molding chases and custom chases
available.

THE PROCESS:
1. You need to make a Negative of your Artwork or Design. This can be made on any Polydiam Platemaker or a Process
Camera.
2. A Molding Photopolymer Plate is made of the image or design required. The thickness of the image will depend on the depth of the image on the photopolymer plate.
3. Stick the Molding Polymer plate onto a Plate holder.
4. Place Plate Holder with Molding chase into the Polydiam Mini-Molder, and clamp it.
5. Fill hopper with
plastic granules into heated chamber. Then press start button to inject into chase to mold.
6. Unclasp, and remove chase and molded plastic item.
7. Then mold mirror image if required.
